New GS StaffCommunication Release with exciting new Features!
Ground operations move fast — and the tools supporting them need to keep pace. With our latest GS StaffCommunication enhancements, we’re introducing new functionalities that make communication smoother, workflows more efficient, and on-the-ground decisions even more data-driven.
1. Baggage hall unit scanning
Baggage hall agents can now register units for outgoing flights via scanning. This includes the standardized barcodes on ULDs as well as the airport’s own scan codes on carts. The agents can also progress the unit’s status via up to the availability of the units for pickup by the drivers.
This new workflow records vital timestamps for baggage transport for outgoing flights. It streamlines the handover from baggage hall to driver pool resulting in less and better-timed trips.
This addition to GS StaffCommunication helps optimize the baggage transport, leading to higher efficiency and fewer delays.

2. Language selector
GS StaffCommunication was already available in a number of different languages. Up to now, the language was determined by the language setting of the device. Now, users can select freely between English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian via the app's menu. Additional languages will be supported in future releases.
This allows employees from different countries to communicate even more confidently in their native language at the airport.
3. Fast recording of extra services
INFORM has a successful long-term partnership with EPG, who specializes in the management of ground handling contracts, service registration, and invoicing. A new seamless integration between GS StaffCommunication and EPG’s mobile service registration makes it easier than ever for ground handling staff to capture extra services. Agents can now record special services such as additional passenger steps, air starters or rigging material directly in GS StaffCommunication without having to switch applications.
This accelerated and more accessible service registration allows for quicker compensation of services rendered. This promotes more efficient billing and improved transparency.
4. Damage reporting for GSE
GS StaffCommunication users can record damage to vehicles or equipment directly in the app. They can enter the equipment ID and easily view the damage history, classify the damage, and assess the equipment's operational readiness.
Rapid damage reporting ensures increased safety and operational readiness of equipment through immediate damage reporting. The real-time database can be used for statistical analysis and insurance claims, resulting in optimized maintenance processes and faster responses.
